<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply picture reconstruction of electro-impedance tomography (EIT) to relatively large arrays for commercial use. <P>SOLUTION: A method of forming an inside picture of a structure (46) including areas having various electric conductivities or dielectric constants comprises application of a series of electric signal sets (V<SB POS="POST">i</SB>) each generating a rotating electric field to a series of electrodes and calculation, by using a measuring electric signal set obtained from each electrode (44), of the distribution of electric conductivities or dielectric constants representing the inside of the structure on whose periphery these electrodes (44) are arranged, wherein the step of calculating the distribution includes definition of a forward model expressing a cost function, for instance an energy function based on this distribution, and the measuring electric signal set as a function of the variation of voltages regarding conductivities or dielectric constants and a requirement that the partial derivative of the difference between the energy function and the function based on the forward model should be zero. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
