<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a buffer packing material for a bottom of refrigerator which minimizes deformation, such as distortion of the buffer packing material, caused by impact of falling without increasing the height dimension of the buffer packing materials so as to prevent a bottom of a refrigerator from hitting by falling, and to prevent the bottom of refrigerator from deformation, such as cracks in the bottom of refrigerator, by dispersing the reaction force of the impact of falling. <P>SOLUTION: The buffer packing material includes a first member 11, a second member, and a third member 13. The refrigerator 20 includes the right and left machine room side walls 21 and 21, and a heat insulation box 22. A bottom surface 210 of the machine room 21 is supported by the first member 11 and the second member, and a bottom surface 220 of the heat insulation box 22 is supported by a support surface 130 of the third member 13.
