<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation system, a terminal device, a navigation server, a navigation device, a navigation method, and a program such that an operation screen on which a user can select an arbitrary point present in a photographed image can be provided as input means for data retrieval conditions, and data retrieval associated with the point selected on the operation screen can be accurately and easily performed. <P>SOLUTION: Map data corresponding to a photographed image is specified based upon display contents identified from the photographed image to generate an operation screen in which display areas of name information included in the map data are set as selectable areas and which is used to select a specific point. Name information corresponding to a selectable area selected from among the selectable areas on the operation screen displayed on a display unit is set, guide information matching the name information is extracted, and a guide screen generated including the guide information is displayed on the display unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
