<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an broadly-applicable LED illumination lamp regardless of a type of a lighting apparatus to which the LED illumination lamp is attached. <P>SOLUTION: The LED-based illumination lamp applied to a lighting apparatus includes: a plurality of LEDs; an MCU for generating a control signal for a voltage, a current and a frequency applied to the plurality of LEDs depending on electrical properties of a power supply used for the illumination; and electrical control means for controlling the voltage, the current and the frequency applied to each of the LEDs based on the control signal generated by the MCU.
