<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolytic water generator for accurately reporting a deterioration state of a reverse osmosis membrane filter according to the cause of the deterioration without depending on the judgement by a human being. <P>SOLUTION: This electrolytic water generator uses an electrolytic tank 3 as a water quality detection section 100, sets, as a determination value of water quality, conductivity ρ determined by the voltage value V and current value I applied to an anode plate 34 and cathode plate 35, and determines cleaning and exchange or abnormality of a nano filter 21 according to the conductivity ratio (=ρ/ρ0) of the present conductivity ρ to the initial conductivity ρ0.
