<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drinking water apparatus which does not require replacement work and can carry out bacteria removal easily and efficiently. <P>SOLUTION: The drinking water apparatus includes: a water storage container (drinking water storage part) 2 where drinking water is stored; a faucet 4 taking out the drinking water in the water storage container 2; and a drinking water supply pipe 5 which communicates with the water storage container 2 and the faucet 4, and where the first opening/closing valve V1 is provided. Between the faucet 4 of the drinking water supply pipe 5 and the first opening/closing valve V1, a tap water introduction pipe 6 to which the water introduced from a water pipe (not shown) via the second opening/closing valve V2 is supplied is communicated. Thus, by opening the second opening/closing valve V2, with the first opening/closing valve V1 open, the tap water including free residual chlorine can be taken out from the faucet 4, the downstream side from the communicating part 51 of the drinking water supply pipe 5 can be disinfected, and it can also be washed by the water pressure of the tap water. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
