Disclosed is a power-saving driving apparatus that is provided with a DC-DC converter (93) driven by a battery (91) and an inverter (19) driven by the output of the DC-DC converter, and that is for a uniform load-pattern apparatus (23) driven by a motor (21) having the power therefor supplied by the inverter, and driven repeatedly with a uniform load pattern. The power-saving driving apparatus is provided with: a power amount calculator (81) for calculating the amount of power (W) to be received from the battery when loaded with the uniform load pattern; and a parameter-selection / command-output unit (83) for varying the parameters of the inverter (carrier-wave frequency command value (F) and output voltage command value (G)) among a plurality of values, comparing the amount of power to be received for each of the parameter values, selecting parameters that will make the amount of power to be received minimum, and outputting a command to the inverter. |
