PURPOSE: An organic UV agent-supported functional PMMA complex pigment is provided to minimize direct contact of agent with skin and prevent skin trouble and allergy. CONSTITUTION: A functional PMMA complex pigment contains 60-99.8 wt% of porous sphere and 0.20-40.0 wt% of organic UV agent. A cosmetic composition for UV protection contains 3-40 wt% of the functional PMMA complex pigment, 6-15 wt% of oil ingredient, 40-86 wt% of pigment, and 0.5-5.0 wt% of additives. The oil ingredient is hexyl laurate, cyclomethicone, scualene or dimethicone, or ester oil or silicon oil. The pigment includes ferric oxide, alumina, talc, silica, titanium dioxide, or polyethylene powder. The cosmetic composition is manufactured in the form of a powder pact, face powder, eye shadow, blusher, pencil, lip stick, mascara, or nail enamel.
