PURPOSE: A functional feed composition for meat eating chicken containing acanthopanax koreanum nakai is provided to improve the productivity of the meat eating chicken, and to reduce the death rate of the chicken. CONSTITUTION: A functional feed composition for meat eating chicken contains a feed admixture including general purpose mixed feed, acanthopanax koreanum nakai stems, and acanthopanax koreanum nakai roots. The shipper rate of the meat eating chicken fed with the feed composition is greater than 97%. The monthly death rate of the meat eating chicken fed with the feed composition is less than 4%.
