<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting element substrate in which productivity can be enhanced by forming a liquid-repellent annular coating provided on the periphery of a light-emitting element quickly at once, and to provide a method of manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a light-emitting element substrate comprises: a step of making a flexographic printing plate, having an ink holding part formed on the surface in a predetermined pattern, hold liquid-repellent ink containing fluorine; a step of making a substrate 10 adhere to the flexographic printing plate and transferring the liquid-repellent ink held in the ink holding part to the periphery of a predetermined position where a light-emitting element 3 is to be arranged; a step of evaporating a solvent of transferred liquid-repellent ink and forming a liquid-repellent annular coating 2 on the surface of the substrate 10; and a step of forming a doom-shaped sealing portion 4 covering the light-emitting element 3 on the inside of the annular coating 2 by dripping a predetermined quantity of sealing resin from above the light-emitting element 3 after the light-emitting element 3 is arranged at the predetermined position on the substrate 10 and connected electrically. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
