<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve current suppression during startup and highly accurate flow measurement by adjustment of waste time. <P>SOLUTION: A vibration type measurement device comprises a sensor tube where fluid to be measured flows, a vibration unit which vibrates the sensor tube, a displacement detector which detects displacements in a inflow side and an outflow side of the sensor tube, and a flow rate calculation means which calculates a flow rate based on a difference between the inflow side displacement and the outflow side displacement obtained from detection signals of the displacement detector. The vibration type measurement device further comprises a power supply circuit which supplies voltage to the vibration unit and the flow rate calculation means. The power supply circuit delays startup of the flow rate calculation means so that the flow rate calculation means starts up after the sensor tube reaches resonant condition.
