<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk recording method that accurately grasp the recorded/unrecorded state of each of multiple recording layers in a write-once type optical disk having the multiple recording layers, and properly performs recording power adjustment to a subsequent recording area in accordance with the change in transmittance due to the recorded state of a recording area. <P>SOLUTION: An unrecorded area to be recorded (subsequent recording area) in a recording target layer is reproduced and a reflected light level in the unrecorded state is obtained. A recording power correction rate to the subsequent recording area is calculated using the relationship between a pre-calculated differential value of the reflected light level and the recording power correction rate, and the recording power is corrected, and then a recording on the subsequent recording area is performed. When the Walking OPC is applied, a recording power is corrected based on the above recording power correction rate and a recording power correction rate obtained by the Walking OPC, and then a recording is performed on the subsequent recording area. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
