<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure for mounting a component which is capable of preventing a clip from falling out of a mounting hole. <P>SOLUTION: A mounting structure for mounting a component is a structure for mounting the base 11 of an assist grip (component) 1 to the mounting hole 2b of a vehicle side panel 2 (mounting member), which includes a clip 3 having an elastic engagement 3a and a step 3f, and a cap 4 having a leg 4b. The clip 3 is inserted into the mounting hole 2b and held at the base 11 by the step 3f. The clip 3 is engaged with the circumference of the mounting hole 2b by the elastic engagement 3a. The leg 4b of the cap 4 is inserted into the internal space of the clip 3 and abuts the recess 3k of the clip 3, thereby attaching the assist grip 1 to the vehicle side panel 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
