The device (14) has a sensor device (15) detecting a moving object i.e. vehicle (21') in blind spots (16, 17) of a vehicle (1) with the device. Another sensor device (18) detects another moving object i.e. vehicle (21), in a rear environment region (20) of the vehicle with the device. The latter sensor device comprises a back driving camera (19) such that recognization of the object in the rear environment region is feasible by analyzing images that are captured by the camera. The former sensor device comprises two ultrasonic sensors (10, 13).
