<p>Disclosed are a lens barrel and a lens barrel assembly method whereby the occurrence of burrs during assembly is avoided and deterioration in optical performance caused by burrs is prevented in the assembled lens barrel. Specifically disclosed is a lens frame that houses a plurality of lenses and has a hollow center formed therein, that also has a groove formed therein that penetrates the inner surface and the outer surface. The groove extends from the front end on the photographic subject side towards the image formation side, to a position where part of the image formation side remains.</p> |
