摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED lighting device for visible light communication capable of improving reliability of visible light communication by preventing a large amplitude LED drive signal from turning into an input side and thereby causing no oscillation, and preventing deficit of transmission data and harm such as mixing of noise. <P>SOLUTION: An LED lighting device comprises a drive circuit which overlaps a signal of modulated transmission data on an electric power waveform and transmits it to the LED lighting device, and generates an LED drive signal based on a modulation signal received by the lighting device. At an input side of the drive circuit, means for converting the frequency of a modulation signal from coaxial cable is provided. Based on a signal converted by the frequency conversion means, the LED drive signal is generated. As frequency conversion means, a multiplication circuit increasing the frequency of a modulation signal can be used. The conversion means can multiply a local oscillation frequency signal by a modulation signal, and multiply the local oscillation frequency signal by a baseband signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
