<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switchgear which discharges high temperature insulation gas in a gas tank container without causing troubles in maintenance space of the switchgear. <P>SOLUTION: The switchgear includes: multiple compartments formed by separating a housing and housing main circuit components; a pressure discharging flapper provided at a ceiling part of the compartments; a pressure discharging duct placed on an upper portion of the pressure discharging flapper of the compartments; and multiple pressure discharging duct plates arranged in the pressure discharging duct.
