<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide rail achieving both a sliding property and durability by a small number of parts, and an image forming device having the same. <P>SOLUTION: A slide rail is made by slidably combining an outer rail and an inner rail 10. The inner rail 10 has an end portion 14 at one end, and a rest part is a main portion 22. At the end portion 14, a top surface portion 18 and end portion sidewall portions 23 on both sides thereof are provided. The main portion 22 is provided with the top surface portion 18, and a first sidewall portion 19, a shelf shaped portion 20, and a second sidewall portion 21 which are on both sides of the main portion 22. The top surface portion 18 continues to the end portion 14 and the main portion 22. The end portion sidewall portions 23 and the first sidewall portion 19 are connected. Namely, the end portion 14 and the main portion 22 are connected at the sidewall portions 23 and 19, in addition to the top surface portion 18.
