PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase an information amount based on one display content without increasing the size of an image reading device, thereby realizing a more comfortable input operation for the display content.

SOLUTION: MFP 1 includes: a touch panel T having a first display unit 19 for displaying information and an input unit 20 for accepting an input operation to the first display unit; an original press cover 4 for sandwiching an original together with a reading face portion 16a; a support unit 6 for rotatably supporting the original press cover 4 so that a facing condition in which the face portion 5 of the original press cover 4 faces the reading surface portion 16a of the reading unit 16 can be switched; a second display unit 21 provided to the face portion 5 of the original press cover 4 which faces the reading surface portion 16a; and CPU 11 for accepting a content of an input operation to the second display unit 21 on the basis of the content of the input operation to the input unit 20.
