PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a settlement terminal device from which an operation manager is surely informed of the contents of a charging failure error if the charging failure error occurs.

SOLUTION: If a power supply is turned off by a power supply operation part 13 while a display 10 is displaying error information, a CPU 14 determines the next time a power supply is turned on by the power supply operation part 13 whether a confirmation operation indicating that the error message is confirmed is input from an input part 11, and if a confirmation operation is not input, displays the error message again on the display 10.
