<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generation system and a power generation method capable of effectively using the heat accumulated at relatively low temperatures around 250 to 450°C. <P>SOLUTION: The heat-accumulation type power generation system mainly includes a heat accumulation furnace 10 for accumulating heat from a heat source 11, a gas circulation flow passage 12 of a closed system having an inlet 12in of the gas to be introduced in the heat accumulation furnace 10 and an outlet 12out for discharging the gas which is heated by the heat accumulation furnace, a piston motor 13a which is provided on the outlet 12out side of the gas circulation flow passage 12 to convert the pressure of the inflated gas into the rotational force, a generator 13b for executing the power generation based on the rotational motion from the piston motor 13a, a speed-increasing device 13c, and a cooling device 14 for cooling the gas from the piston motor 13a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
