<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve dust removing performance by efficiently catching dust contained in suction air, in an air conditioner including a filter from which the dust adhering thereto is washed away. <P>SOLUTION: The air conditioner 1 includes: the filter 3 and a heat exchanger 2 which are provided in an air conditioner body; and a drain pan 16 which is provided below the filter 3 and heat exchanger 2. The air conditioner further includes: a frictionally charging brush 41 which frictionally charges static electricity on the filter 3; a moving unit which relatively moves the filter 3 and the frictionally charging brush 41; and a washing away unit which allows cleaning liquid to flow down toward the windward side of the filter 3 and washes away the dust caught by the filter 3 toward the drain pan 16 with the cleaning liquid. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
