<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of more accurately removing an unneeded local feature amount than a conventional technology. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing device comprises detection means for detecting a plurality of local feature points from an image; selection means for calculating local feature point density at a plurality of areas of the image and for selecting the local feature point which belongs to an area in which the density exceeds a predetermined threshold among the plurality of local feature points; and local feature amount calculation means for calculating the local feature amount corresponding to each selected local feature point. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
