<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchange unit by which manufacturing cost can be reduced without lowering heat exchanging effect. <P>SOLUTION: The heat exchange unit (23) arranged in a channel (20) of exhaust gas of the internal combustion engine (10) and carrying out heat exchange between the exhaust gas and medium includes the first case (41) and the second case (42) constituted by bisecting the cylindrical shape case (40) by the plane parallel to the flowing direction of the exhaust gas, the heat exchanger (32) housed in the first case (41) and carrying out heat exchange between the exhaust gas and the medium flowing the inside thereof, a bypass passage (34) formed in the second case (42) and passing the exhaust gas therethrough, the on-off valve (35) for switching passing the exhaust gas through the heat exchanger (32) or through the bypass passage (34), and the first case (41) and the second case (41) are connected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
