<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telescopic mechanical pencil which is extended by twisting a front shaft portion or a rear shaft portion during extending operation and which is contracted by pressing a cap top with a lead tip turned upward during contraction operation, and capable of feeding a lead even in the contracted state. <P>SOLUTION: The telescopic mechanical pencil includes: the front shaft portion 1; and the rear shaft portion 2 slidably inserted into a rear part of the front shaft portion 1 thereby enabling extension/contraction over respective terminating positions. The front shaft portion 1 includes: a ferrule 4 having a sliding piece 3 internally installed; a front shaft body 5 to which the ferrule 4 is screwed; a fixation guide mechanism internally installed in the front shaft body 5; a lead tank 8 capable of traveling through a through hole of the fixation guide mechanism part; a lead feeding mechanism 9 provided between a tip of the lead tank 8 and the ferrule 4; a presser top 10 mounted to a rear end part of the fixation guide mechanism part and cooperated with the lead feeding mechanism 9; and a presser pin 11 having a tip swingably pivoted to a rear end of the presser top 10. The rear shaft portion 2 includes: a rear shaft body 12 slidably inserted into the front shaft body 5; a lock mechanism 13 internally installed in the rear shaft body 12; and the cap top 16 fixed to a rear end of the rear shaft body 12 and having a step regulating swinging of the presser pin 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
