EXPLOSION-PROOF LUMINAIRE

A luminaire is proposed for lighting of explosion-hazard areas with high-power LED light sources, in which luminaire high-power LEDs (21) are arranged on a thermally conductive device (20) which extends along the interior of a protective-tube housing (11). At the end, said housing is closed by closure bodies (16, 17) which make close thermal contact with the thermally conductive device (20) and act as heat sinks. Impermissible heating of the surface of the luminaire (11) is prevented, as is an excessively high radiation concentration on its surface.
