<p>A vehicle frame component has U-shaped cross section whose two sides are a first side edge (101) and a second side edge (102) respectively. A bottom part of the U-shaped cross section is a bottom edge (103). Said first side edge (101) is parallel to the second side edge (102), and the bottom edge (103) is perpendicular to the first and the second side edges (101, 102). The wall thickness of said vehicle frame component which is made of aluminum alloy or magnesium alloy ranges from 1 mm to 8 mm. The invention has advantageous effects as follows: the vehicle frame component which has thickened U-shaped cross section and is made of aluminum alloy or magnesium alloy is acted on a vehicle body, to replace a rectangular steel pipe of a prior vehicle body frame, thus achieving the effect that the weight is reduced by almost half under the condition of identical or similar steel material strength; therefore, the combined vehicle body has lightweight without decreasing the strength, low manufacture and operation cost, energy saving and environment friendliness, and can adapt to install on different parts of the vehicle body.</p> |
