In a glazing strip for mounting two spaced window panels 6, particularly a vehicle windscreen, having at one side a longitudinal groove 8 to receive a flange 1 of body panels surrounding the window opening, and at the diametrically opposed side a pair of longitudinal grooves each of which receives a panel 6, the latter grooves being defined by a common flange 7 integral with the body portion 2 of the strip and two flanges 9, 10 projecting therefrom, each flange 9, 10 has a wedging bead 5 at one end to engage a similarly shaped longitudinal recess in the portion 2, the wedging beads 5 being so shaped that they also tend to press together the groove 8 receiving the flange 1.
