<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide glass of high mechanical strength by satisfying both the ion exchange performance of the glass and the devitrification resistance thereof. <P>SOLUTION: This scientifically tempered glass substrate having a compression stress layer on a surface thereof contains 40-71% of SiO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>, 3-21% of Al<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O<SB POS="POST">3</SB>, 0-3.5% of Li<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O, 7-20% of Na<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O, 0-15% of K<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O, 0.01-3% of SnO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>, 0% to less than 0.1% of Sb<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O<SB POS="POST">3</SB>, and 0% to less than 0.1% of F by mass as glass composition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
