<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a reflection which appears on an image being caused by stray light resulted from a part of display light incident into an imaging device, when imaging an object on a display surface side by the imaging device from a rear surface of a display section. <P>SOLUTION: An image display device 1 A includes a noise suppression processing section 200 that suppresses a reflection noise by performing a signal processing to image information acquired by an imaging device 20 through a light transmission section of an image display section 10. A control section 90 performs a timing control, preferably synchronizes both timing of a display timing and an imaging timing. By limiting a processing object only to a part of signal components composing an image, the noise suppression processing section 200 performs a processing at a higher speed than in a processing of all the signal components. For example, image information of a specific area or/and only one signal of a plurality of signals representing image information can be defined as a processing object. Preferably, by limiting a processing object only to a signal component having a strong correlation with luminance information (typically a green component) or only to luminance information, a processing speed can be increased while avoiding a reduction of a noise suppression effect. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
