<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera and an interchangeable lens which can improve operation performance including communication between the camera and the interchangeable lens while supporting an old type interchangeable lens. <P>SOLUTION: A camera 1 which can install an interchangeable lens 2 comprises a camera side CLK terminal 15, a camera side DOC terminal 16 and a camera side DOL terminal 17 for communicating with the interchangeable lens 2. The camera 1 can switch between synchronous communication which communicates by using the camera side DOC terminal 16 and the camera side DOL terminal 17 based on a CLK signal output from the camera side CLK terminal 15 and asynchronous communication which communicates by using the camera side DOC terminal 16 and the camera side DOL terminal 17 without outputting the CLK signal from the camera side CLK terminal 15. If communication abnormality occurs during the asynchronous communication, a camera side micro computer 13 outputs a predetermined signal from the camera side CLK terminal 15 to the interchangeable lens 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
