<p>Provided is a device parameter setting assistance system for assisting in setting parameters for various kinds of processing devices. Specifically disclosed is a device parameter setting assistance system comprising: an execution result acquisition unit for acquiring execution results at at least any two time points of a real device from an EES or a device controller of a device design/manufacturing assistance system; a parameter calculation unit for calculating PID parameters at the respective time points on the basis of the acquired execution results; a difference calculation unit for calculating a difference between the calculated PID parameters; a change value calculation unit for calculating the value of change per unit period of the calculated difference. In the device design/manufacturing assistance system, a new PID parameter is calculated by subjecting the calculated value of change and a PID parameter stored in a device simulator to an arithmetic operation, and PID control is executed using the new PID parameter by the device simulator.</p>
