<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastically processable polyurethane elastomer having the hardness of 50 Shore A to 70 Shore D (ISO 868). <P>SOLUTION: The polyurethane elastomer is obtained by reacting: (a) straight-chain polyester diol having one or more functional values of 1.8 to 2.2 containing succinic-acid 1,3-propionate, and having average molecular weight of 1,950 to 4,000 g/mol; (b) one or more organic diisocyanate; and (c) one or more diol having molecular weight of 60 to 350 g/mol.
