PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively and reliably identify overlappingly registered medical data patient by patient.

SOLUTION: An information processing device 100 receives user designation about items to be determined for patient identification from an input section; searches medical information of the items specified by the user designation across patients in a medical information database 350 stored in a storing section; based on the search result, calculates coincidence rate of characters or numerals described in the medical information in relation to the items between patients; compares the calculated coincidence rates with a predetermined coincidence rate required for the items in a table 336; determines a pair of patients having calculated coincidence rates exceeding the predetermined coincidence rate to be identical; and associates the patients' medical information for output from an output section.
