<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image output apparatus and an image output method capable of reducing crosstalk in a multiview system. <P>SOLUTION: An image output apparatus is provided with an input image data rearrangement unit to input images from a plurality of systems and output these images after rearranging them; a spectacles shutter control unit to generate signals which synchronize with the output from the image data rearrangement unit; and a corrected image generation block to correct hues of the output images in sequence to make the hues of the output images close to each other.
