<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plastic bottle the rigidity of which can be improved so that there is no problem in manufacturing and distribution. <P>SOLUTION: The plastic bottle 1 includes a bottle body 4 comprising polyhedrons. The bottle body 4 has a recessed rib 35 formed all the way in its circumferential direction. The rib 35 has a rib bottom face 41, an upper rib circumferential face 42 continuing to the upper edge of the rib bottom face 41, and a lower rib circumferential face 43 continuing to the lower edge of the rib bottom face 41. The outer shape of the rib bottom face 41 is not similar to the outer shape of the upper rib circumferential face 42 or lower rib circumferential face 43. In addition, the rib 35 comprises an approximately hexagonal cross-section shape, and each corner of the outer shape of the rib bottom face 41 is round-chamfered, and each corner of the outer shape of the upper rib circumferential face 42 or lower rib circumferential face 43 is chamfered. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
