<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire that can improve the feeling quality of the tire while maintaining the performance of the tire, and to provide its design method. <P>SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire includes a tread, a sidewall and a bead. The sidewall has a pattern formed by extending to the circumferential direction of the surface, and the pattern is formed into a shape whose surface shape is varied in the circumferential direction on the basis of a 1/f fluctuation coefficient being a value which is varied by an order in a range that a fluctuation coefficient is not smaller than 0.5 and smaller than 2, and a difference between a maximum vale and a minimum value is not larger than 0.5, and in which an order range of a frequency with one cycle in the circumferential direction as primary is finite, thus solving the problem. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
