<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detection method for the content of waste paper pulp that detects the content of waste paper pulp of a recording medium to be detected precisely as compared with a case in which an analysis of a main component of a near-infrared spectrum is taken without excluding a first wavenumber band during the analysis of the main component. <P>SOLUTION: A detection device includes a regression line generation processing execution unit 12A and a waste paper pulp content detection unit 12B, and analyzes the main component with respect to a wavenumber band other than a first wavenumber band corresponding to absorption of expansion/contraction vibration of oxygen atoms and hydrogen atoms during main component analysis of a near-infrared spectrum of a plurality of kinds of recording media used for regression line generation and differing in waste paper pulp content, and during main component analysis of a near-infrared spectrum of a target recording medium whose waste paper pulp content is to be detected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
