<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve communication quality. <P>SOLUTION: A radio communication device 10 comprises a transmission unit 11 for transmitting a ranging signal to a base station 20, and a transmission power control unit 12 for controlling a transmission power level of the ranging signal. The transmission power control unit 12, when retransmitting the ranging signal, has: a first phase, in which the transmission power control unit 12 retransmits at the same transmission power level as that of a first time transmission or at a transmission power level obtained by again performing a calculation procedure used at the first time transmission; and a second phase, in which the transmission power control unit 12 retransmits by increasing the transmission power level. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
