METHOD FOR DISPLAYING DATA ON DISPLAY SCREEN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system provided with flexibility of data access, an intuitive user interface, and exceptional report data retrieval and display performance.

SOLUTION: A method comprises means to display a graphical user interface consisting of a first report content parameter field and a virtual chart display mode button, and an operator input device for interacting with the graphical user interface. The method further comprises: means to convert the graphical user interface so as to display plural value fields for a first report content parameter in response to a start-up of the first report content parameter field by the operator input device; means to set a value of the first report content parameter in response to a start-up of one field of the plural value fields by the operator input device; means to retrieve and take out data defined by a set value of the first report content parameter from a database in response to a start-up of the virtual chart display mode button by the operator input device; and data retrieval means to display a chart having visual angle elements as a function of the data.
