PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide appropriate settings of transmission/reception bandwidths in a wireless communication system defining plural bandwidths.

SOLUTION: In a setting method for transmission/reception bandwidths in a wireless communication system defining plural bandwidths, the transmission bandwidth of an uplink collision allowable channel transmitted from any mobile terminal in the wireless communication system is set to the minimum transmission bandwidth in the plural bandwidths. Or, the transmission bandwidth of an uplink collision allowable channel transmitted from any mobile terminal in the wireless communication system is set within a predetermined bandwidth larger than the minimum transmission bandwidth in the plural bandwidths.
