ULTRASONIC PROBE AND ULTRASONIC DIAGNOSTIC APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic probe and an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus which reduce the possibility that moisture enters a drive layer and the risk of dielectric breakdown due to moisture and which are easy to manufacture.

SOLUTION: The ultrasonic probe includes: a diaphragm 6 serving as a movable membrane comprising a drive layer 62 and a base material layer 61 stacked together; and a support member 8 for supporting the diaphragm 6. In the diaphragm 6, the base material layer 61 is disposed in front of the drive layer 62 in the direction of transmission of ultrasonic waves.
