<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic toner excellent in not only the storage property of the toner but the environmental stability of a charge amount, and to provide a toner binder resin used for the toner. <P>SOLUTION: The toner binder resin contains: a polyester resin (A) obtained by condensation polymerization of an alcohol component containing 60 mol% or more of an alkylene oxide adduct of bisphenol A represented by the formula (I), and a carboxylic acid component; and a polyester resin (B) obtained by condensation polymerization of a carboxylic acid component containing an aliphatic hydroxycarboxylic acid compound having a total sum of 4 or more, by number, of hydroxyl groups and carboxyl groups, and an alcohol component containing 60 mol% or more of an aliphatic diol having 2 to 5 carbon atoms. The electrophotographic toner contains the binder resin. In the formula (I), R<SP POS="POST">1</SP>O and OR<SP POS="POST">1</SP>represent an oxyalkylene group; R<SP POS="POST">1</SP>represents an ethylene and/or propylene group; and x and y represent the number of added moles of the alkylene oxide, each being a positive number, and the sum average of x and y is 2 to 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
