<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus in which failure in the positioning of a frame image can be recognized easily when displaying a visual field in photographing on a suitable position in a mosaic image as a moving image. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus comprises: mosaic image generation means for generating a mosaic image by sticking a plurality of still images photographed by a camera; feature value extraction means for extracting feature values from a frame image and the mosaic image; relative position determination means for determining relative positions between the frame image and the mosaic image by comparing the feature values; and live image display means for updating a display position of the frame image to the mosaic image based on a determination result of the relative positions and displaying a moving image on the mosaic image. When the positioning of the frame image succeeds, the live image display means changes the display position according to the relative positions, and when the positioning fails, fixes the display position near to the position of the final frame image succeeding in the positioning without changing the display position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
