<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressor that allows a cover body to be surely fixed to a compressor body without damaging a lead wire and is excellent in assembling workability, and a refrigerator using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The compressor includes: a compressor body; a connector connected to an input terminal provided on the outer surface of the compressor body; a temperature sensor 16 for measuring the temperature of the compressor body; and a cover body 18 mounted to the outer surface of the compressor body and covering the connector and the temperature sensor 16.
