<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter which allows the improvement of adhesion when being arranged in a gas generator and the elimination of a short passage preventive member of combustion gas thereby, and a light-weighted gas generator. <P>SOLUTION: A cylindrical filter 10 is formed of a porous metal plate consisting of expanded metal, lath metal, punching metal or the like having holes. A compressive strength S1 on both end sides in a height direction of the porous metal plate is set smaller than a compressive strength S2 of a portion other than a range of the S1, which corresponds to a range of 5 to 20% in length from both ends 11a, 11b with respect to the overall height. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
