The invention relates to a vehicle having an internal combustion engine, having an automatic transmission which has an electrohydraulic transmission controller, and having a transmission oil pump which is mechanically driven directly or indirectly by the internal combustion engine and which, during operation of the internal combustion engine, pumps oil via a main line to the electrohydraulic transmission controller, and the vehicle is temporarily halted, the internal combustion engine is switched off in the presence of predefined operating parameters and started in the presence of a restart signal. Furthermore, an oil store unit is provided which, in a time period after the starting of the internal combustion engine in which the transmission oil is first building up pressure, is evacuated by the pressure building up in the transmission oil pump, wherein the oil from the oil store unit is provided for supply to the electrohydraulic transmission controller. |
