The fastening device includes a holder connected with a roof frame structure and another holder connected with a roof lining (2), where a part of a Velcro(RTM: hook and loop fastener) closure is arranged at each holders. Fold lines run parallel to each other in a vehicle longitudinal direction. The Velcro(RTM: hook and loop fastener) fastener is designed as a duotec(RTM: molded mushroom tape) connection. The holders are formed as metal sheet mold parts.
