PURPOSE: A rotary clutch and a driving apparatus including the rotary clutch are provided to prevent the rotation of a rotary clutch in case of failure of all bracket members. CONSTITUTION: A driving apparatus comprises a large internal-combustion engine, a load unit, a first supporter(10), and a second supporter(20). The large internal-combustion engine comprises a crank shaft with a rotation drive member(2c). The load unit comprises a member(5) to be rotated. The first supporter has a first base section(11) is associated with the rotation drive member of the large internal-combustion engine. The second supporter has a second base section(21) is associated with the member to be rotated of the load unit.
