<p>Disclosed is a terminal device which, in switching between frequencies or systems, measures a target cell, i.e. a handover destination candidate, while maintaining measurement accuracy of the current cell, which is the handover origin. In a terminal device (200), a receiving unit (220) receives a main measurement channel (first main measurement channel) transmitted from a base station device (100), which is the handover origin base station device currently connected for communication, and receives a measurement subchannel (second measurement subchannel) transmitted from a base station device (100A) which is a candidate for the handover destination base station device. Here, the first main measurement channel is transmitted using a main frequency band (f1) allocated to the base station device (100). Further, the second measurement subchannel is transmitted using a subfrequency band (f'2) which is a frequency band comprising a portion of the main frequency band (f1). Then, a reception level measurement unit (230) measures the reception level of the first main measurement channel and the second measurement subchannel.</p> |
